Ok, so now I am starting to get a bit ballsy with my blogging... using titles like "A nod at Gwyneth" and posting pictures of myself... I mean, who goes there?! But I think it's only fair to give Gwenny a little shout out amongst all of this trash talk about our fashion darling. I am sure you have heard by now... but there is some situation happening regarding "a horrible Gwyneth article" coming out in Vanity Fair and Graydon Carter (Vanity Fair's Editor) running it, no matter what GP says. I say "whatever" Gwyneth, the hell with them. Until someone can match your ability to sport a t-shirt and boot cut jeans and pull it off as "minimal chic"... you have nothing to worry about. You are the queen of classic American style and isn't Beyonce your best friend?!
I bet GP is wearing this grey turtleneck right now. I envision 7 of them perfectly lined up in her closet, with the days of the week sewn on each label. And while we are on Gwyneth staples, God do I love a 1/2 sleeve right now. Remember when 3/4 sleeves were "THE" sleeve length, ew. Those are actually almost due to make a come back, which I'm not looking forward to...but anyway, I'm sure Gwyneth will look amazing in them and I am sure Graydon Carter will have something to say about it.
You can own my top for $30, but order a size up... I got the size 2 and fear the day it gets washed. I paired my 1/2 sleeve with high-waisted black leather shorts, a Samantha Wills ring and Jenni Kayne pony hair mules. I've always had a big crush on mules and seeing a woman who can actually walk in them is like, the best look.
