AND I WAS LIKE

Hey guys! Ok, so I am back to blogging. I missed it so much! To be honest, I had terrible writers block. You know the kind you see in movies when you are supposed to feel bad for the writer who is up in the middle of the night, smoking a cigarette and sitting in front of their type writer with three words typed, looking like they could really use a Skin Ceuticals face mask. And you don't feel bad because you are like, "Ok yeah, we all have jobs too, so just do yours because writers block isn't a disease or a phobia and you don't even have to be in an office at 9am tomorrow and no one feels for you". Well, I had that! ha!

Ok, so anyway Maja and I had the best time in Mexico. Nothing like tequila and guacamole to heal the pain of giving up your New York Apartment. My lease ended in February and I haven't been able to bare renting a new one, considering I am only spending about one week a month in the city and that it costs a small fortune (think a pair of Alaia's + a Gucci Dionysus Blooms Bag) for one months rent. The good news is I am in LOVE with Sandos Mexico and they said I can come back whenever I want and to be honest, my Spanish could really use it.

We got to check out three locations while we were there. First, Sandos Payacar, which is a great spot for my girls who have their lives together (a.k.a. married with kids) and their kids love to swim and eat quesadillas and go to arcades and watch huge live streamed Justin Bieber concerts, sounds kinda like my dream. Anyway, then we went to Sandos Caracol, which is an eco resort and perfect for people with children who are slightly a.d.d. (and a beach just is not enough to entertain them). Caracol is packed with water slides, nature and tons of Mayan History, including these dudes dressed in traditional Mayan attire and watch out because they will totally hit on you, if you are into that sorta thing  (AHEM MAJA). And lastly, Sandos Cancun, which is the luxury experience of the group, and just so happened to also be my favorite (shocking) but, really, they had this UNREAL buffet and faux Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson performers that were so fun. It's the kind of spot that makes you want to do tequila shots at breakfast and well, enough said.

Thank you Sandos I love you. Watch out Los Cabos. I am coming for you.

So now that you know where to go... check out the "shop the post" at the bottom of this page for what to wear. xxB
