AND I WAS LIKE

Hey. Ok, so I spent the past month testing tons of self tanners to figure out which is really the best... results coming soon. Needless to say, my skin looked beyond awful by the end of my experiment. My pores looked huge and clogged and my face was just every type of nasty. The first order of business was a trip to Erno Laszlo for microdermabrasion and oxygen. Girls, I really cannot swear by the benefits of microderm and oxygen enough. If your pores seem large, it means they are or were clogged. Microdermabrasion works like a vacuum to exfoliate and suck up dead skin cells and unclog your pores. Overtime, by keeping your pores clean (a.k.a. regular microderm treatments), they will literally shrink. Sadly, these "at home microdermabrasion scrubs" are kinda B.S. and can be really harsh on your skin. Clearly there is a difference between a machine vacuuming your dead skin cells away and you scratching your face off with a salt scrub. However, I have been using an at home acid based peel by Peter Thomas Roth and wow, it really did make my pores appear cleaner and smaller and truly did even out my skin tone and texture. I feel like it was a get out of jail free card after all the self tanners I had been layering on. The peel, which is used once a week for 12 weeks, provides an instant glow and an overall improved texture. Check out my current skin regimen below.
