Fall 2013 seems to be about embracing happiness. I mean, someone is seriously smiling down on us. Think about it... we are wearing our silk pj's during the day, flats are totally acceptable at the office, and to top it all off... our lipstick is camouflaging our drinking habits. I am obviously all over this and tried three new wine-stained lip colors (at 3 different price points) on my gorgeous girlfriend Breanna. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am not into lip liner right now. It feels very dated and old fashioned. Instead, start with a primer, I like this or this and then do your best applying only the lipstick (or gloss) and if the edges end up slightly lighter, it's fine. Remember we are embracing happiness, not perfection and thank God because lip liner and wine do not belong in the same sentence.
