Last week, I had my hair colored by the incredibly talented Lena Ott. Jot down that name because I swear to you, this woman is the next Fekkai. About a year ago, I ripped a picture from a magazine of Behati Prinsloo and text it to Lena. I asked her what she thought about the color and if it could work on me. She replied that "she loved the color but was a bit biased" as she was the person responsible for Behati's balayage locks. UHM SOLD. From that point on, Lena has been in total control of my color. I don't even really give direction. I just let her do her thing, but while she colors me I love picking her brain about the new hair trends in color. My hair is now a sleek, dark brown, a la Rachel Weisz (another one of Lena's clients), which plays on the trend of having "less high and low lights). Other trends included neon hair and my favorite trend of all, RED! Every since Lena mentioned this I have been seeing red all over NYC. I have always been obsessed with red heads, probably since Ariel and my Little Mermaid days. Come on girls, lets make this one happen!!! Oh and P.S. all of the other Victoria's Secret girls that Lena works on are just "maintaining their current color". Fingers crossed Lena can convince one of those hotties to go all ginger on us!
