Uhm guys, it's August. Mid-August, which means summa is ALMOST ova. Not that I am really complaining. I mean, I love a great pair of boots, live for layering and I'm sort of anxious to work on my skin (post the summer sun). I think I am finally going to start Retin-a... but probably after a few IPL's or Clear and Brilliant (laser talk). Did you know you have to stop using any Retin-a type product 4 weeks before going near a laser or you could burn your skin? EEEK. I am going to check in with my Skinovator's at Dangene, and let you know what sort of plan they come up with for me. In the meantime, what are your plans for your skin post Labor Day? Would love to hear all of your fall rituals. In the meantime, we might as well live it up out doors. Here are some products I love that make a splash.
On my skin, I used Urban Decay's Pore Perfecting Primer, which is amazing at keeping your makeup in place for hours, but make sure you don't use too much or you literally turn pasty white. Take it easy, ghost face killah. Next, I used CK One's 3 in 1 Face Makeup (the 3 in 1 stands for serum, primer and foundation.. I know, I know... I already used primer, but trust me these products work well together).
On my eyes, I used Urban Decay's 24/7 glide on pencils. I LOVE these. They are easy to put on, water proof and the colors really make my eye color pop. I mixed the colors Deep End and Chaos. Followed by, YSL's Babydoll Mascara in Indiscreet Purple. I am such a sucker for anything that Cara Delevingne models.
My lips are wearing Urban Decay's Super Saturated Lip Gloss in Crush. If you are going to wear the look out (and you're not going for an editorial effect) I suggest you pair the eye with a GREAT nude lip, or keep the lip as is and use only the purple mascara on the eye.
